What is involved?

This course is ideal if you have successfully studied this subject area at Level 2. The course will help you develop a deeper understanding of 3D Animation and Games Design.
It will give you an insight into the methods and practices that are used in the Animation and Game industry.

It involves extending the practical skills that you have gained at level 2. You will learn additional techniques of using industry standard software as well as other hands on skills that will help to prepare you for future employment within the industry you are training for.

What will my career options be?

The course involves studying 3D Modelling, 3D Animation, 3D Environments, Computer Games Design, Computer Game Story Development and much more. In addition you will undertake supported independent study and will meet regularly with your Academic Progress Advisor.

Your work will be assessed throughout the course by written, practical and group based assignments and you will be notified of deadlines throughout the course.

What is the cost?

The Home fee is £3928 (Plus £125 Exam Fee).

What do I need?

You need to have a Pre Access Qualification at level 2, you must be at least 19 years old.
If you do not have formal qualifications for entry, you will need to demonstrate commitment and enthusiasm to study at level 3, as well as demonstrating a level 2 ability in communications and numeracy.
