Advanced Technical Certificate in Digital Technologies Level 3

What is involved?

Students will attend college for between 3 and 4 days per week (depending on English and Maths requirements) in general from 9 until 5 All learners must attend Industry relevant work experience for two weeks Both English and Maths are part of your course every week. Levels 1-2 including GCSE are catered for. Students will be using all in one Pcs to design software. This course is ends tested and students must pass a final exam along with a synoptic assignment. This synoptic assignment will cover every unit learned in the year. You will also complete Skills Zone for developing soft skills, employability, CV creation and job hunting. There are 7 units which build up to a synoptic assessment.

What will my career options be?

With programming skills you may look to start work straight away, begin an apprenticeship or progress to University to gain your degree

What is the cost?

This Course is Free for 16-18 Home Students. The Home fee is £2583.00 (Plus £125 Exam Fee) The information which describes this course was accurate at the time of publication. What do I need?

5 GCSEs passes at grades A*-C including English and maths. or Successful completion of a Level 2 course to a published standard (for example, with a merit grade) with Functional Skills gained at level 2 in English or, where more appropriate, maths. or A recognised precursor qualification, such as BTEC Level 2 certificates, extended certificates, with a minimum of a Merit grade, or diplomas with a minimum of a Merit grade pass and Functional Skills gained at level 2 in English and/or maths, except where indicated in the table below.
