You will be introduced to a range of engineering aspects such as interpreting and using engineering information, marking out techniques, machining processes and, electrical and electronic assembly practices.
There will be an emphasis on working safely while developing your practical skills and knowledge of the tools, equipment, principles and processes used in the engineering industry.
This course will prepare you for progression to the BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Engineering, or the EAL Level 2 Diploma Engineering Technology programme.
This Course is Free for 16-18 Home Students

There are no formal qualifications required, but you will need to demonstrate a desire and enthusiasm for studying in the field of engineering and have numeracy, written and spoken English at or above Entry Level 3.
