What is involved?

The course has 15 units to be completed. They consist of: principles and values, equality and inclusion, person-centred support, communication, health and safety, healthy eating and drinking for adults, growth and development of young children, numeracy and ICT Skills. I - Learning Sessions This is time provided for independent study. This time is used to work through assignments, complete homework activities and conduct wider reading and research to assist learning. Assessment feedback Group and one to one feedback is set up on the programme to further assist you with successfully completing the course. Support feedback is at flexible times to meet your needs. This could occur during the daytime or evenings.

What will my career options be?

You may progress to a Level 1 course in Health and Social Care and Early Years. After completion of the course, you will have a better understanding of how you want to progress to your career pathway. You can choose to continue with health and social care or do any other course such as early years or business.

What is the cost?

The Home fee is £150 (Plus £52.50 Exam Fee). This Course is Free for 16-18 Home Students. In some instances a course may be free - please refer to the 'What do I Need to Pay' screen for more information.
