Intermediate First Extended Certificate in Sport (QPR)

What is involved?

The BTEC Level 2 Extended Certificate consists of 360 GLH and the completion of 12 units. During the course you will study a range of units for example Practical Sport, Anatomy and Physiology and Fitness for Sport and Exercise. GCSE-Retakes You will be retaking your GCSE Maths and English, if you did not achieve Grade C in any of these subjects, as part of your course to enable you to progress onto Level-3 qualifications. Work Experience opportunity As part of the programme you will conduct a two week work placement in a Sport or Fitness environment. This will allow you to apply your theoretical knowledge into a practical work setting. Assignments will also be completed in relation to your work placement. I - Learning Sessions This is additional time embedded in your programme for independent study. This time is used to work through assignments, complete homework activities and conduct wider reading and research to assist learning.

What is the cost?

The Home fee is £1950 (Plus £125 Exam Fee).
