Newham College Celebrates a Winning Week

It’s been a winning week at Newham College. Our two cricket teams both won matches in the Essex County Board’s FE “Chance to Shine” on the same day last week. This followed previous success in the same tournament at UEL’s Sports Dock just a few days earlier. Our football team also triumphed in Queen Mary University’s Student Union Community Sports Cup.

National Survey Unveils Facts of Newham College’s Student Experience

Key findings from the Active Colleges’ student sport survey for 2015 reveal more about the impact that sport has in the lives of students. Active Colleges is a £25 million National Lottery fund which is managed by Sport England. The fund aims to help more students get involved in sport and the national survey engaged over 18,000 students from 154 colleges.
