Employer ServicesNewham College has a long and proven track record of working closely with employers. From our inception, we have worked with local businesses to ensure that the training we offer matches the needs of business, both now and for the future. We pride ourselves on our outstanding work with owners of local businesses, developing new skills and increasing profitability. We also make vital training available to large companies for their staff, whether within the college or in the workplace. We ensure that we tailor this training to suit business needs, developing new qualifications and bespoke programmes delivered to industry standards. All this has helped us win many national awards and international accolades for our exemplary work engaging with employers. We are recognised for our outstanding delivery of programmes for employers. We are one of the largest providers of Train to Gain in London and are now delivering traiing throughout Kent and across the rest of the UK. We have created bespoke training programmes to meet the needs of specific sectors, including tailoring and jewellery manufacturing and we can also support you to take on an apprentice. In addition to this, due to our successful work on the regeneration agenda and creative use of European and other funding, we have a number of bespoke business services and support programmes for businesses in East London, especially for budding women entrepreneurs. For more than fifteen years the Centre for Innovation and Partnerships has been successfully working with local, national and international organisations to provide innovative and practical ways of helping businesses succeed. The college also has a large business faculty which is dedicated to developing and delivering the highest quality of business education to our students. This faculty, known as Business, Health and Community Studies, works with over 3,500 students every year offering everything from short introductory courses, through to advanced programmes in Business Management. This faculty also leads on our work with the National Skills Academy for Business and Financial Services. To find out more about our commitment to you, see our Employers Charter. ![]() ![]() |
