Employment Services

Opened in May 2008, the Businessworks centre at the East Ham campus, is the new home for Newham College’s employment services team.

Supported by the London Borough of Newham’s Workplace programme, Businessworks aim is to provide effective support to those seeking to enhance their employability skills, including those threatened with redundancy. As well as excellent training programmes and links to many local employers, the team at Businessworks have also built relations with many of the organisations involved in the major new developments in East London, including Stratford City and London 2012.

These residents can receive free professional advice on employment options or guidance into a chosen career.
