Admissions Policies

Our policy is to guarantee and provide a place to all applicants on a course that is judged appropriate to their level of attainment, their learning/training needs and their aspirations.

We aim to achieve this by providing a Course Consultancy service that:

• Provides access to a wide range of further and higher education opportunities relevant to the wide diversity of need in our locality
• Is available to applicants throughout the year
• Is accessible at College campuses, Learning Centres and High Street locations by post and by telephone
• Is responsive to the needs and demands of customers and provides a quick and friendly service
• Maximises opportunities for customers to access a College place using the 'guaranteed place' scheme
• Is backed up by the College's Student Charter
• Provides effective educational and vocational guidance and, where appropriate, assessment of training needs
