Student LifeNewham College of Further Education has a wealth of social clubs and activities you can get involved in. There is a Student Life social area on the first floor of the East Ham campus and here you will find lots of information that will help you make new friends and join in activities and events outside of class. Our Student Advice team can also advise you on local community groups with a similar background to your own, outside the College, who may be able to offer you support and friendship. Accommodation Information for students: we recommend that all international students should stay in a homestay accommodation for at least the first 4 weeks of their stay in the UK. If you are taking a long-term course you may wish to choose alternative accommodation, such as sharing a flat with other students.
