If you're under 19 it's all free. If you are 19 or older then fees may be payable, depending on the course you choose.

Courses that involve more than 12 hours of study time each week
Most of our courses that involve more than 12 hours of study time each week further education courses are FREE to students who are resident in the UK or another EU country. But remember that even though you will not be paying tuition fees, you will have other expenses, such as exam fees and the cost of materials.

Our Customer Services Points can give you details of what expenses are involved in a particular course. Fees are charged for commercial courses and for higher education courses. Overseas students have to pay fees on all courses. For further details call 020 8257 4446 and ask for Customer Services.

Courses that involve less than 12 hours of study time each week
Our Customer Service Points have details of tuition fees for courses that involve more than 12 hours of study time each week. However, you may qualify for FREE ENTRY if you are receiving:

Unemployment Benefit (Jobseeker's Allowance)
Income Support
Family Credit
Disability Allowance
Housing Benefit/Council Tax rebate
A retirement pension.

You may also qualify for FREE ENTRY if you are:
an unwaged dependant of someone receiving any of the benefits listed above, taking a Basic Education course or taking a course in English as an Additional Language.

Financial Support
If you are in financial difficulty, you may be eligible for help from our Access Fund (for full time students over 19). Our Student Advice Service can also tell you about other sources of financial support for students.

We subsidise exam entry fees for many courses.

Higher Education Fees

2012- 2013:

Undergraduate	Courses approx 40 hours per week
Home/EU Students*	£4,500
International Students	£7,200

**Note the fee is the same even if this is your second degree. Most providers charge home/EU students who already have a degree international fees.

Postgraduate	Courses approx 40 hours per week
Home/EU Students	£7,200
International Students	£7,200

**A postgraduate Master’s degree consists of 180 credits.
