Inside Out Newsletter 1Welcome to the first in what will be a regular series of staff newsletters for 2008/9. It will be my duty to communicate all internal and external news stories that either the staff, students or general public should be aware of. In doing so, I hope to translate all internal messages and announcements efficiently via regular press releases, postings on the intranet and, of course, staff newsletters that encompass every aspect of college life. Externally I will strive to gain as much favourable coverage as possible of the College and its activities in local, national, international and trade press. If there are any promotions, extra curricular activities, or glowing course stories you would like me to promote, then please don’t hesitate to get in contact. Similarly I hope to work closely with the marketing team and all the staff to raise awareness of College activities via a host of events spread throughout the academic year, aimed at encouraging and endorsing good causes. The aforementioned Course Consultants have already been put to work, and are producing excellent results. The team of eight will be assisting and implementing new methods of ensuring as many new students as possible apply, are accepted, and stay on a course that suits them.
