Is the Course for me?
The foundation certificate is where you will develop your skills in finance administration, double entry bookkeeping, purchase, sales and general ledgers, basic costing and using accounting software.
What is involved?
The skills you will gain are processing payments and receipts, preparing invoices, completing bank reconciliations, using accounting software, effective business communications skills including letters, memos and informal reports.
Students may wish to progress to the AAT Advanced Diploma in Accounting Level 3 The following jobs may be open to you Accounts Administrator, Accounts Assistant, Accounts Payable Clerk, Bookkeep, Payroll Administrator, Purchase/Sales Ledger Clerk, Tax Assistant or Trainee Accounts Technician.
