This course is ideal for people who want some basic dry lining skills. Dry lining is the covering of a background surface with a plaster substitute; it is the use of plasterboard on timber or metal frames due to the unacceptable finish

What is involved?

This course consists of practical tasks combined with some theoretical study. Units you will study include: Health, Safety and Welfare in Construction and Associated Industries. You will also learn how to install dry lining encasements, install dry lining partition, finish dry lining joints and apply a range of finish plasters to plasterboard backgrounds

Progression to certificated Construction Courses including level 1 Dry Lining
