What is involved?

You will be involved in studying mechanical, electrical and electronic principles and applications; in addition to communication techniques, engineering drawing and computer aided design.

There will be an emphasis on working safely, whilst gaining knowledge of the tools, equipment, principles and processes that are used within the engineering industry alongside health and safety in the workplace.

Your work will be assessed, through the completion of assignments, projects and practical tasks.

Progression

Provided you fulfil all of the course requirements you may be able to progress onto a Foundation Degree in Engineering or employment as a technical engineer in the field of Mechanical or Electronic Engineering
