Fashion and Textiles Level 1 (Adult) - September 2024
On this course, you will learn how to sew using industrial machinery and industry methods.
You will learn through demonstration, practice samples and making several samples of techniques and methods and learn how to handle a wide range of fabrics moving towards garment making and accessories.
All of your work will be presented in a presentation of file of which along with your written information and notes on the techniques you have learnt.
This course has additional English lessons to support the development of the English language and learn specific terms and language related to the specialism.

You don’t have to have any prior experience to join the course. You only need to have an interest in learning fashion skills and bring your commitment and determination to learn and complete the set tasks. You do need to have at least 4 GCSE grades 9-3, including English language and maths
