Course content

This qualification has been developed in consultation with employers in the digital industry to ensure that you will develop the core knowledge and practical skills to give you the best opportunity to be successful when applying for work.

The course will include core and specialist content and will combine theory with hands-on skills required for an occupational specialism.

Students will also gain additional vendor-based qualifications (Google, Microsoft or CompTIA) based on the occupational specialism as part of the course:

  • Digital Infrastructure
  • Network Cabling
  • Digital Support
  • Programming

You will also get an opportunity to understand the social, commercial and legal implications when using new technologies and be able to identify future impacts from the application of these new technologies.

On all our courses, you will also develop professional, personal and social skills through interaction with peers, stakeholders and clients, as well theoretical knowledge and understanding to underpin these skills.
