This course includes core and specialist content and will combine theory with hands-on skills required for a Health occupational specialism.

As part of your Transition course, you will learn about working in the health sector, health and safety and providing Person-centred care. You will also be able to further develop their English, maths, science and digital skills as part of the course.

Entry requirements

An interview with a teacher and a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 3/D including at least one grade 4/C in English and maths or a relevant Level 1 qualification. A Science GCSE may also prove beneficial but not essential.
