This AAT accounting studying programme is recognised and valued by employers as vocational and technical skills that effectively prepare students for the world of work and for working specifically in accountancy and finance roles.
Completing this course will develop your practical accountancy skills in the double-entry bookkeeping system and in using associated documents and processes. You will also develop practical accountancy skills in entering accounting transactions into accounting software and performing bank reconciliations.

As part of the programme, you will conduct a two-week work placement in an accounting environment. This will allow you to apply your theoretical knowledge into a practical work setting. Assignments will also be completed in relation to your work placement.
You will need either 5 GCSEs at a minimum of grade 3, including English and Maths or a Level 1 qualification in Business.
Internal progression onto our Advance Diploma in Accounting Level 3.
