The purpose of this qualification is to ensure that you are well prepared to progress into business finance or professional accountancy career or into further education.

The Advanced Diploma may be studied if you would like to build your skills after you have completed the Certificate in Accounting Level 2 or the Foundation Accounting Qualification Level 2.

Course description

You will study more complex financial processes, including final accounts for sole traders and partnerships, reports and returns and professional ethics.

Entry requirements

You will have passed the AAT Certificate in Accounting Level 2 or have relevant exemptions.

Progression

On successful completion of this course you will be able to progress to the AAT Professional Diploma in Accounting Level 4 or to further studies in accountancy and finance.
