This business study programme is designed to develop the transferable skills, attributes and behaviours needed for learners to progress to further study and ultimately to employment. The study programme is designed to be delivered in an applied way, bringing together appropriate content with practical and technical skills.
The study programme will demand a lot of practical work from you focusing on skill development for employment and progression. The development of transferable and sector skills is the main focus on this study programme.
This business study programme introduces learners to some broad sector skills and to some underpinning knowledge of a vocational sector. This will help you prepare for progression and ensures that the approach to delivery is practical, active, contextualised and skills based. Learners will also be studying functional skills or GCSEs alongside their study program.

As part of the programme, you will conduct a one week work placement in a Business environment. This will allow you to apply your theoretical knowledge into a practical work setting. Assignments will also be completed in relation to your work placement.
You must have either a minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade 2 or above, including English and Maths or an Entry Level 3 qualification in English and Maths.

This course is free for students aged 16-18. The course fee for adults (19+) is £362 plus £105 exam fee.
