This qualification covers the required skills and knowledge for preparing to work in the Hospitality & Catering Industry. It is designed to meet the needs of learners who work or want to work in the industry with a focus on service.

Course description

As part of this course, you will be expected to:

  • Maintain a safe, hygienic and secure working environment
  • Maintain customer care
  • Work effectively as part of a hospitality team
  • Maintain food safety when storing, preparing and cooking food
  • Prepare and clear areas for counter and takeaway service
  • Provide a counter and takeaway service

Entry requirements

You will need a strong interest in the hospitality and catering profession and be willing to commit to this 18-week fast-paced course.

Progression

Successful completion of this course will give you the opportunity to progress to other catering and hospitality courses or into relevant employment at a junior level within the industry.

The course fee is £362 plus £75 exam fee.
