This qualification is offered at Levels 1 and 2, and is aimed at students wishing to learn some skills in bricklaying, to progress on to becoming skilled in their chosen trade, or to progress through an apprenticeship and work towards becoming a master craftsman.
Skills learned include carrying out blocklaying, bricklaying and cavity walling activites and interpreting working drawings to set out masonry structures.

Our carpentry and joinery courses are offered at Levels 1 and 2.
Level 1 introduces the learner to carpentry and joinery skills, exploring how to produce basic woodworking joints and to safely use various hand and power tools.
Level 2 allows you to refine the skills learned at Level 1 and to specialise in either site carpentry, bench joinery or shopfitting joinery.

Courses in Construction Skills (Entry Level 3, Level 1) and Construction and the Built Environment (Level 3) can help you take your first steps towards a career in the construction industry. You’ll learn essential skills from bricklaying, carpentry and joinery to plumbing, painting and decorating.
This qualification is offered at Levels 1-3 and allows the learner to acquire basic to advanced knowledge and craft skills of electrical installation.
At Level 1, you will learn the basic installation of cables and wiring systems. By Level 3, you will be exploring the installation and testing of electrical equipment together with the relevant theory of electrical installation to the current edition of the wiring regulations.

Our plumbing courses cover many areas within plumbing and domestic heating, including hot and cold water supplies, sanitation and understanding health and safety within Building Services Engineering. Courses are offered at Levels 1 and 2 and available courses are listed here.
Classes are taught in bespoke, well-equipped facilities with plenty of opportunities for hands-on learning and practical work experience, including a two-week placement in the industry.
