This qualification is designed for students who would like to develop their knowledge and understanding of computer programming. If you have little or no experience and are considering a career in this field, this is a great way to start your journey.

Course content

Learners will learn about the basic principles of computer programming to understand how programming works. You will develop graphic-based programming skills to design and develop your own computer program.

Curriculum units

  • Basic principles of programming
  • Designing a simple computer program in response to a client brief
  • Graphical programming
  • Testing, documentation and reviewing
