This course is a beginners course for anyone who wishes to learn the skills for Fashion.

The course will be for those who wish to learn how to create fashion garments using industry-led techniques.

Course description

The course is for those who would like to learn how to make clothes using industrial methods. You will build skills through demonstrations and practical application. Apart from making skills, you will also learn how to cut, lay and handle fabrics. By the end of the course, you will have generated a full file of information and samples as well as completed toiles and garments.

Entry requirements

You do not need to have any prior qualification in fashion. However, you need to be at E3 level in English Language.


You may progress to Level 2 Intermediate Certificate in Fashion and Textiles, Level 1 Tailoring or Level 2 Art and Fashion Design.

The course fee is £362 (exam fee £75).
