This is full-time study programme designed for new school-leavers who are looking to establish themselves into college vocational routeways in the service industries. This programme will give you the skills and knowledge to get you into future study or ultimately an Apprenticeship. You will receive pastoral support as well as improving and gaining a full qualification in Work Skills from BTEC Pearson.
You will also have opportunities to develop wider employability skills linked to the East London Business Alliance (ELBA) competencies from local employer supporting you in work experience and/or extended work placements aligned to a college pathway in Vocational Industry or Apprenticeships.
Your study programme will consist of the following:
You must be 16-17 years old and you will be required to attend an informal interview which may include completing an assessment based on your prior qualifications.
You can move into dedicated vocational studies in Business, Public Services, Leisure, Humanities, Health & Care, Digital, Travel and Tourism or apply for Apprenticeships if you are ready.
This course is free for students aged 16-18.
