Your programme is designed around practical skills and tasks that place an emphasis on students demonstrating what they can do rather than what they know in theory.

As part of the study programme, you will conduct a two-week work placement in a sport, fitness and leisure environment, retake GCSE English and math, participate in a range of sports enrichment activities and represent the college teams through Cricket, Football, Pan-disability Football, Futsal, Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton and Table Tennis.

Furthermore, this course gives you the opportunity to acquire and develop generic, transferable and sector-specific skills in order to complete tasks and demonstrate a level of achievement that enables them to progress to further learning. This will allow you to apply your theoretical knowledge to a practical work setting. Assignments will also be completed in relation to your work placement.
