If you are interested in a career in the travel and tourism sector including customer service related roles, then this is the course for you.

Course description

The course provides a range of introductory skills, as well as core knowledge, relevant to travel and tourism, alongside generic employability skills which are needed both in the travel and tourism sector and across other sectors.

Course content includes knowledge and skills relevant to different job roles in the sector alongside generic employability skills.

Entry requirements

You do not need any prior qualifications or a specific level of attainment to take this qualification. You should have an interest in working with people and the travel and tourism industry.


This qualification could lead to an entry-level role in travel and tourism such as travel agent assistant, visitor attraction assistant, among others. You could also opt for further study with Level 2 course in Travel and Tourism, Level 2 Cabin Crew or an apprenticeship.
