2 weeks practise induction course to get experience working with adults in a wide range of social care settings.
This short 2-week introduction course is for people who would like to work with adults in a wide range of health and social care settings. It will develop your knowledge in a variety of topics which are fundamental to working in adult social care and include:
• The importance of communication
• Personal development
• Equality, diversity and inclusion
• Health and safety
• Duty of care
• Person-centred care
In order to enrol you should be at Entry Level 3 in Literacy. To assess your level you will need to undertake an initial assessment which can be done prior to enrolling.
£200 paid in one instalment. Course available FREE to unemployed applicants in receipt of certain benefits or those earning under £15,736.50.
This course will run from Monday 13th May 2019- Friday 24th May 2019
