Join our highly successful cricket academy while gaining academic qualifications.

Newham College Cricket Academy (NCCA) is a free programme offering all cricket players (of any gender or ability) aged between 16-18 years, the opportunity to be involved in a highly successful cricket academy while gaining academic qualifications.

In 2016, the NCCA team were crowned AOC National Indoor Champions which made them the best college cricket team in the United Kingdom.

In 2019, the NCCA team finished runners-up in the AOC National Outdoor Finals held in Birmingham.

Newham College Cricket Academy combines education with specialist coaching and outstanding facilities. Alongside your studies, you will train several times per week to develop cricketing skills through technical, tactical and game-related sessions. Individualised strength and conditioning sessions are also delivered via our fitness suite.

  • Opportunity to compete at both regional and national levels
  • Trials offered by professional cricket clubs (selected players)

How to apply

To register your interest with our Newham College Cricket Academy, please select a sports course of your choice and apply through the college website. Please use the code ID-SPS-NCCA with your selected sports course when completing your application.
