There are numerous benefits for students of all ages at the College. With inside information you can be sure, you don’t miss out on making the most of every opportunity on offer.
As a parent / guardian it’s good to be aware of what can be expected during a typical College day. We also recognise how important it is for you to know exactly what your son, daughter, or ward can aim for and achieve from choosing the best qualifications.
Typical College Day
We offer courses at practically every level. Classes start at various points throughout the day from 9.00am and on occasion at weekends.
We offer more flexible timetables than that of most schools, though students are expected to attend each class as we take work ethos and attendance very seriously.
There are library facilities and dedicated areas for independent study. Extra circular activities can also be pursued through our student union and sports clubs. Plus, teaching and support staff are always available to give advice and guidance.
It is easy to get confused with all the different qualifications that are available to study. So we have provided a comprehensive breakdown of all we have to offer when it comes to ‘Choosing the right course’. Please contact our Admissions Team for further information.
Did you know that 92% of our young level 3 students progress to university at the end of their course? Other students continue with their studies or progress to apprenticeships.
Newham College provides a wealth of career enhancements and practical opportunities for promising students. For further information, visit our Student Services section of this web site.
