Sport and Fitness
Every student is encouraged to take part in recreational activities to get fit, learn new skills, gain additional qualifications, socialise, play in competitive sports or simply have fun!
During your time at the College, we offer you the opportunity to participate in a wide range of sports and fitness activities. In addition, we have our sports academies which provide you with the platform to showcase your talents and perform in regional and national competitions.
These opportunities can greatly enhance your experience and open the door to other opportunities whilst you study. Many students who get involved show a trend in better attainment within their academic studies.
We have a large cohort of sports and fitness varying from badminton, basketball, boxing, cricket, dodgeball, female fitness classes, football, futsal, martial arts-karate, netball, pilates, street dance, table tennis, swimming, trampolining, yoga & many more. These are great for your CV/UCAS applications as many future employers seek students who take part in extra-curricular activities and show a pro-active attitude to their study programme.
The College gives you the opportunity to participate in local, regional & national leagues/tournaments. We have a very successful cricket team whom have recently been crowned local, regional & national champions and have won the regional cricket league for the last 3 years.
