Prime Minister Boris Johnson recently agreed that Apprentices would play a "huge part in getting people back on to the jobs market and getting them into work" and with the huge benefits that apprentices bring; fresh energy, ideas and talent, organisations will be able to not only continue but to thrive and plan once again for the future.

Newham College – recently crowned the top-performing FE College in London (NART 2018-19) – works with businesses to help them develop important staff members and the leaders of tomorrow. We provide advice, guidance and talk to you about your training needs through our apprenticeships programme.
Should your existing staff need to be upskilled or reskilled, we can identify your requirements initially through a training analysis, matching the needs of your staff and your business to our apprenticeship programmes, and providing the skills they need through off the job training at one of Newham College's campus locations.
Additionally, if you are looking to bring in new staff, we can help by creating job descriptions to link your training needs to the programmes that we have on offer, and provide full apprenticeship recruitment services from pre-screening to initial assessment so that you only interview those candidates who match your requirements.
Supporting you every step of the way
To ensure things run smoothly when taking on an apprentice at Newham College, we work around your commitments and those of the learner and the college, during the period of the apprenticeship. It’s important to remain in constant contact with you throughout the recruitment process itself, recommending suitable candidates for you to interview that have already undertaken an initial assessment with our team to ensure they match your requirements, and you theirs.
Once your learner is in place, our assessors are in regular touch with yourself, the apprentice and their workplace mentor to ensure that everything is working as it should be and according to their training plan, keeping you informed of their progress.
We will be with you through the length of the programme and hopefully beyond, as you look to potentially recruit additional apprenticeships to help your business grow.
