Newham College to celebrate exceptional Student achievement
Newham College is hosting two awards ceremonies this month to celebrate the most exceptional students and their accomplishments.
The Newham College Curriculum Awards, the first awards ceremony this month, takes place on the 12-13th of June and will honour the student accomplishment of exceptional success. The students will receive accolades for both academic and extra-curriculum activities.
Outstanding achievers, the very best students, are invited to attend Newham College’s second awards ceremony of the year, the prestigious annual Shining Stars Awards Ceremony on Thursday 27th of June 2019.
Hundreds of guests will gather at this glamourous ceremony; from members of the Newham Borough Councillors, sponsors of the event, business representatives, members of the press, to celebrity speakers, student nominees and their guests.
The Shining Stars Awards Ceremony looks at outstanding individuals from every level, students who have excelled above and beyond standards in their studies or extra-curriculum activities, and awards them, whilst nominees are also commended with a certificate.
Each award is sponsored by a business or organisation. This will raise funds for the College’s chosen charity, the Learning Revolution Trust which helps disadvantaged learners by removing the financial and social barriers to education. In this way, it is creating a culture of ambition, opportunity and learning.
