Hair and Barbering students push creativity to the limits with winter-themed hairstyles

Betty’s Unisex Hair Salon challenged our Hair and Barbering students to test their skills on Afro-Caribbean hairstyles.

As part of their employer-led work experience project, our Level 2 Hair and Barbering students were challenged by Betty’s Unisex Hair Salon to create a winter theme that incorporated Afro-Caribbean hairstyles.

Our students did us proud as they pushed their creativity to the limits, thinking on their feet as they researched and sketched out the right styles. They had fun practising different ideas, techniques, concepts, and colours on 'styling blocks', crafting exquisite masterpieces, which they then showcased, ensuring it fulfilled the requirements of the brief.

Our learners enjoyed every minute of this experience and would do it again at the drop of a hat. Their motivation and drive meant they created impressive styles, based around specific themes, mimicking how a professional hairstylist would work on a photoshoot.

If you feel inspired, apply to one of our hair and beauty courses.
