Lockdown learning stories – starring our students
Our students have embraced virtual learning – and can't wait to tell you about it!
It's fair to say Newham College's staff and students have embraced virtual learning during lockdown.
To show how well they've been working, we've created a short video of our students describing how they have been adapting their learning in this brave new world. Using platforms such as MS Teams, Zoom and WhatsApp, as well as sharing resources, making videos and taking quizzes, our learners are using a huge range of methods to stay in touch with their teachers and keep on top of their studies.
We are delighted that not only have our students found quick and effective ways to stay connected, but also how well they are progressing with their courses from their homes.
We would also like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all our teachers for their innovation and dedication in the different methods they are using to ensure their students continue to learn effectively. We look forward to the day when all our students are back on campus again, but until then, we are grateful that staff are working tirelessly to ensure their students feel safe and supported during these times of uncertainty. Thank you!
