National Apprenticeship Week 2018
From the 5th – 9th March, it’s National Apprenticeship Week!
We have a fantastic programme of activities lined up for #NAW2018, including a visit to the Houses of Parliament, workshops at local schools, talks to small businesses and our annual Apprenticeship Awards celebrating the great work of our apprentices and their employers.
During National Apprenticeship Week (NAW) employers and apprentices from across England will come together to celebrate the success of apprenticeships whilst encouraging even more people to choose apprenticeships as a pathway to a great career.
This year’s NAW follows recent findings which show that Newham College has achieved an employer satisfaction score of 88%. Figures released by the Education & Skills Funding Agency and the Department for Education reveal that this score is 11% higher than the average satisfaction rate of a further education college and exceeds that of neighbouring colleges in London.
Alongside all the exciting events and workshops, Newham College’s Apprenticeship Team will be live tweeting new employer signups and launching an innovative competition to celebrate major investment in the College’s catering department.
