Newham College joins National Skills Academy for Rail’s National Training Partnership
The National Skills Academy for Rail (NSAR) has welcomed Newham College as the newest member of its National Training Partnership.
Graded Good by Ofsted in 2016, Newham College is known for its practical, relevant and digital approach to learning and equipping pupils with the know-how to pursue successful careers.
The college has been providing high quality engineering training to industry for over 50 years and is developing a range of innovative higher level technical training programmes to meet the growing needs of industry. This will support recruitment and training for the future pipeline of talent, as well as provide development and career progression opportunities to the existing workforce.
Newham College can look forward to joining a cadre of FE colleges who a have extensive experience of working collaboratively with employers and delivering high quality end-to-end management of apprenticeships, as well as a great understanding of the UK rail industry and its needs.
