Newham College Students Once Again Participating in West Ham United’s Clubs Players’ Project

Earlier this year in March 2019, West Ham United held their Clubs Players’ Project in which our amazing Hair & Beauty students, all of whom are 16-18, carried out mini manicures and hand massages to the local community who struggle due to Homelessness, find the time or space to be treated as such due to everyday life struggles or Social Inclusion.

Newham Students are once again involved in West Ham United’s Players’ Project which has been hailed as the most ambitious community programme ever created by a Premier League Club, where players from the men’s, women’s and Academy teams directly work with people from the local homeless people offering vital services and respite from life on the street.

Newham Hair & Beauty students are looking forward to participate in the West Ham United’s Players’ Project on the 18th December 2019. They will once again be providing a helping hand to the local residents of Newham who need it the most and helping tackling loneliness by simple acts like proving Mini Manicures and Hand Massages even serving a cup of coffee to someone who just wants some company.

Crucially, these projects allow Newham College students to make use of their skills by contributing to making a difference to the community.
