Newham College to deliver a further four T Level Programmes from 2022

Newham College will add four new qualifications to further strengthen our T Level programme from 2022.

Newham College is proud to announce that it will be extending the roll-out of the T Level programme in 2022 to include Design, Surveying and Planning, Onsite Construction, Building Services Engineering, and Management and Administration.

London's top-performing College (NART 2018-19) is already part of the second wave of further education colleges chosen by the DfE to deliver the new T Level qualification in Digital and Healthcare Science from 2021. These new qualifications in construction, engineering and, management & administration will not only build on our T Level programme but also add to the calibre of great courses the College has to offer.

The T Level programme signifies a huge shift in post-16 technical education as T Levels follow GCSEs and offer an alternative to A Levels. Equivalent to 3 A levels, the two-year courses have been developed in partnership with employers and businesses. They combine classroom studies with extended industry placements, equipping learners with the ability to meet industry needs and be prepared for the world of work. T Levels will be the new choice for 16-19 year olds alongside A Levels and Apprenticeships.

Newham College is thrilled to be at the heart of the delivery of this new flagship qualification. This is testament to the College’s ability to provide high-quality education to learners so that they can progress and succeed in their future careers.
