Students head to Spain for work experience

A group of 19 students are currently in Seville, Spain on a two week work experience placement in the city.

The trip was organised as part of the Eurotrain project which enables students to gain valuable work experience and to improve their language skills.

The College offers work experience in Business, Travel & Tourism, Early Years and Health & Social Care.

I really enjoyed my placement in Seville. I gained a lot of confidence and the experience will be really useful when I come to look for work at the end of my course.

The College ensures that the trip also offers cultural and leisure activities for a well-rounded fortnight that will be momorable as well as enhancing their CVs.

Since October 2015, there have been 12 trips and 140 students have travelled abroad. The project has been really beneficial and has given students a taste of a new city and the opportunity to practise and develop their skills.
