We are currently looking to appoint a pro-active calm and well organised Science Technician who can assist in the preparation of learning areas for practical work and to supervise and maintain specified areas of Biology, Chemistry and Physics. The ideal candidate would be able to support the Health Science Department.
All Technicians must ensure that the department’s laboratories and service areas are clean, and that Health and Safety regulations are rigorously met.
The successful candidate will coordinate the use and development of practical resources and facilities and work with their colleagues accordingly. As well as have a good level of education A-level or level 3 equivalent in at least one of the subject disciplines of Chemistry, Biology or Physics. Candidates with previous experience in a similar role will have a distinct advantage, however training will be provided.
