Course content
This course will give you the theoretical and practical skills that you need to start a career in the travel and tourism or customer service industry. On successful completion of the course you will be able to progress to Level 3 Travel and Tourism courses.
Work experience (16-18 only)
As part of the programme, you will conduct a work placement in travel and tourism sector. This will allow you to apply your theoretical knowledge into a practical work setting.
Enrichment activities
A range of Enrichment activities are incorporated within the programme. Examples of enrichment activities include lectures by guest speakers from leading travel experts and visits to various industry leaders, trade events or seminars. You will have an opportunity to participate in internal and external events where you will be able to show case your skills.
Support Tutorials (16-18 only)
Group and one to one tutorials are set up on the programme to further assist you with successfully completing the course and provide you with professional guidance and support throughout the course.

You will need a minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade 3 or above, including English and Maths or a Level 1 Diploma in Travel and Tourism.
